The Androgarde® capsule contains L-Arginine as one of its main ingredients. L-Arginine is an amino acid known for its positive effects on muscle strength for a long time. Recent research has shown that the guanidine group present in Arginine produces Nitric Oxide (NO) in the human body. The more Arginine is present, the more NO is synthesized.
Nitric Oxide (NO) is a crucial compound for the development and maintenance of a healthy erectile mechanism, as it helps relax the walls of blood vessels, allowing them to expand more effectively. As a result, in cases of Arginine deficiency leading to NO deficiency, the corpus cavernosum and arteries of the penis cannot expand sufficiently to create an erection as they would in the presence of adequate NO levels.
The amount of arginine produced by the human body decreases with age. Arginine supplementation is therefore an important factor over the age of 40, as Arginine naturally increases male potency (1)

Research by the Mayo Clinic, a leading research institute in the United States, has also shown that Arginine alone is sufficient to maintain a healthy erection, but that less can be effective when combined with other drugs (2).
One of these newly discovered agents is a certain pine bark extract, which, when combined with arginine, greatly increases nitric oxide production in the body and thus improves erectile function (3,4).

In addition to the above, Carnitine has also been shown to be effective in the prevention of erectile dysfunction.(5) The fat burning effects of Carnitine are well known, but perhaps less well known is that through its effect on fat metabolism, by inhibiting the deposition of fats in the walls of blood vessels, it can also inhibit the narrowing of small arteries, which is very important for maintaining a healthy erectile function.
The Androgarde® capsule also contains coenzyme Q10, which has antioxidant properties. It influences fat metabolism by inhibiting lipid peroxidation, thereby reducing the risk of fat deposits in small blood vessels.
Moreover, some studies have shown that Q10 can, in certain cases, enhance fertility. Similar to Arginine, the amount of coenzyme Q10 naturally decreases with age. Therefore, men over the age of 40 should consider supplementing it.

The Androgarde® capsule contains Zinc (Zn) as its fifth active ingredient. Zinc is a mineral present in every cell of the body, though its distribution is not uniform. The amount of zinc in the blood is also influenced by dietary intake.
One of the well-known effects of zinc is its role in enhancing testosterone synthesis. Therefore, a deficiency in zinc can lead to decreased sexual activity and reproductive capability.

Finally – but not least – one of the most important active ingredients in the Androgarde® capsule is Vitamin D3.
A recent study has shown that a deficiency in Vitamin D3 can easily lead to erectile dysfunction. This is because, in a deficient state, free radicals accumulate, which damage the inner walls of the corpus cavernosum and the penile blood vessels, thereby impairing healthy erectile function.
